Every Child Deserves a Chance to Dream

At Shikshangram Shelter for Children, every child has a story  a story of courage, hope, and transformation.
Many of our children once faced homelessness, child labor, or abandonment. Today, they live in a safe, loving home where they are given not just care, but a future.

We currently support over 145 children, providing them with:

  • A Safe Home: Secure accommodation in our boys and girls hostels where every child feels loved and protected.
  • Quality Education: Access to formal schooling, bridge education, and our own Nalanda Learning Centre for continuous learning.
  • Nutritious Meals: Fresh, balanced meals prepared in our Aai Mala Bhook Lagli Kitchen to ensure their healthy growth.
  • Creative Growth: Art, dance, sports, and drama workshops to help children express themselves and discover their talents.
  • Emotional & Mental Care: Counseling, yoga, and mentorship to heal trauma and build confidence.

Our children are the soul of Shikshangram  each one unique, bright, and full of potential.

Through education, care, and love, we help them grow into compassionate, confident, and responsible young adults.
