Before Shikshangram Shelter for Children began, our founders, Satish and Yogita Moon, spent months traveling through railway stations, slum areas, and rural villages listening, observing, and understanding the struggles of children living on the margins of society.

It helped us identify where help was needed most and guided the foundation of Shikshangram mission:
To rescue, protect, and empower children in danger giving them a safe home, education, and a future filled with dignity.
