At Shikshangram Shelter for Children, education is the foundation of everything we do.
We believe that learning should go beyond textbooks it should build confidence, creativity, and character.

Every child at Shikshangram is provided access to education that meets their individual needs, helping them grow into thoughtful and capable young citizens.

Our Education Program Includes:

  • Nalanda Learning Centre: A creative and interactive learning space where children receive extra academic support, skill-based education, and exposure to new ideas.
  • Formal Schooling: All our children are enrolled in recognized schools. We ensure they attend regularly, complete homework, and receive additional tutoring when needed.
  • Bridge Education: For children who previously missed years of schooling, we offer a bridge course that helps them catch up and transition smoothly into regular classes.
  • Skill Development Workshops: Vocational training in art, craft, farming, computers, and communication skills helping children prepare for real-world opportunities.
  • Digital Learning & English Communication: Through technology-enabled lessons and English-speaking classes, children gain confidence to engage with the world beyond Shikshangram.
